ABOUT

I am a PDX-based communications professional dedicated to building brands and movements that inspire connection and foster meaningful change.

Originally hailing from the sunny South, I graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. degree in Retail Merchandising & Product Development. In 2017, I migrated north to Portland, OR where my passion for fashion, sustainability, and ethical production practices led me down a path of independent clothing design and retail management in downtown Portland. This journey culminated in the opening of my own namesake brick-and-mortar shop, CR Hollis on Williams Ave.

As a self-starter willing to take risks, I’ve learned the value in knowing when to pivot. Just over a year after launching the shop, I made the decision to pair down the operation and embark on a major career shift.

Inspired by my love for meaningful connection and my own experiences navigating the U.S. healthcare system, I developed an interest in organizations working to improve access to quality, client-centered care. Today, I serve as the Communications and Marketing Manager at Quest Center for Integrative Health, where I am committed to supporting their mission of providing inclusive, empowering, and integrative healthcare services, community, and education.

In addition to my commitment to Quest Center, I am currently open for select copywriting jobs. I love working with fellow small-business owners and organizations that center community, sustainability, and collaboration in their work.

In my personal time, I continue to design and sew clothing, some of which can be found on the racks at Frances May. I also enjoy practicing bass with my band, Dead Baron, and spending quality time with my close-knit community.
