The Woodstock House

The Woodstock Recovery House is Quest Center’s Transitional House focused on providing safe, intimate, and affordable housing specifically tailored to support Black and African American individuals in their journey to recovery.

As part of my responsibilities in the opening of Quest Center’s Woodstock Recovery House, I organized and a press conference to generate public awareness and support for the initiative. This event garnered the coverage of local publications Street Roots, The Skanner, as well as KOIN 6, and KATU TV.

I collaborated on the staging and photographing of the house to ensure it was creating an inviting space for future residents.

Additionally, I developed a comprehensive communications plan to support fundraising efforts for the house through Willamette Week’s Give Guide, where we raised 114% of our goal.
